In April of 2003, film producers Lara Alameddine and Daniel Dubiecki launched what would instantly become the brand for fashionable dog owners worldwide. Their vision for Little Lily was to create a fan base, rather then just a customer base, to sell people a lifestyle and not just products, with the philosophy that dogs are an extension of their owners. They packaged the company as they would with a movie. They started with a great quality product, then attached celebrity, and most importantly allowed it to tell a story. Within the first month of business Little Lily had already caught the eyes of Hollywood's "A" list and was featured in over five major publications. Over the past seven years it has become one of the most featured pet brands in the US.

Little Lily's Hollywood fan list includes Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Hillary Duff, Selma Blair, Tori Spelling, Barbara Streisand, Jennifer Lopez, Molly Sims, Eva Longoria, Paris Hilton, to name a few. The collections have been featured in many movies and TV shows, Legally Blonde, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, So Notorious, Simple Life, and Punk'd, E! News, Extra… And Little Lily's customers span over 300 boutiques and department stores and over fifteen countries.

Little Lily has been recognized as a brand in the pet world that has been able to cross over into the world of children. Having partnerships with major companies such as Hello Kitty, Curious George, and Care Bears to create co-branded products was the only the beginning. With a successful high-end brand, and Hollywood producer foundation, growing into the entertainment world has been a natural transition. Lara and Daniel created Little Lily Entertainment in 2009 to bring the face of Little Lily's charming Yorkie, Lily, to life. Lara and Daniel are developing the LA based story of this inspirational four-legged friend for a line of children's books, toys, movies and a TV series.
